David 1, it is seriously soooo disturbing. i really don't want it to be Holloway. But when we see him looking older in the space suit outside, it really makes me think he has a different fate altogether. Regardless, it's going to be frightening as all hell just like RS wants!!!

eheh, I want to watch it from the aesthetic point of view. But you are absolutely right; it is disturbing. That and the asshuger coming out from the mouth. muah-ah-ah-ahhhh

it says holloway on the headgear with the shot of him writhing and with the black veins mutating....what I wanna know is what is going on with the new shot of him on the ground, minus helmet, with the black vein in the middle of the forehead and bloodshot eyes

It says Holloway on his head.

Oh Dear GOD, I already have nightmares from my obsession with the trailers and tv spots. Bloody can't wait for this film. I love disturbing films, lol. And, indeed, the Milburn seen.....speechless.

I can't see that it says Holloway clearly. Anyone have a clear screen cap of that? It looks nothing like him to me....regardless of the morphing.

suffice to say it looks like old Holloway to me too.

I just don't think it does. Guess we shall all find out. But you cannot even read that it says his full name on his helmet.....and it doesn't jive with the way he looks later as completely aged as he's outside with his hands up. There you can clearly read his name.

In reply to Fury 161, my theory is they remove his helmet after the bubbling skin/veins and whatever has attacked him seamingly leaves.The red eye scene is him recovering from the ordeal ( not knowinghe has been left with wormeye.

So sad....the torture scene is going to kill me. I can't deal with anything that happens to eyes.....can't take it and it'll haunt me.

Just to stay in topic. I think I am going to watch Prometheus at least twice. The first time will be in IMAX 3D, the second I am not sure yet. But I am tempted by the (silly) idea of going and watch it at the Odeon Holloway in London, just to add flavour. Unfortunately there are no cinemas in Fifield.

@ash'bishops I concur. It seems he gets into something(or rather something into him) then he goes back aboard the ship only to find the eye worm. I believe he also contaminates some other crew members.

Is Holloway, but he looks different becuase he is freaking mutating into a SJ/Human hybrid. That's why the pilot SJ in the trailers looks smaller than the rest. He is the one seen wandering with a robe in prehistoric Earth and the big giant head could very well be his head... It looks sad because he is thinking of Shaw.

This is when Holloway starts to feel his infection, after this is the scene when he is on the floor with red/sore eyes. Then the crew head back and Holloway then holds his head and falls down, Shaw and Ford was carrying him back. The Pilot is at least 9ft tall.

i dont think its going to be any of the none main characters, so no Mercs or Mechanics. So that leaves.... David 8, Holloway, Fifield and Milburn. Its not Janek or Ravel and i doubt Chance. David 8 is in the scenes latter in the movie so its not him (dont look like him anyway). Milburn with his glasses, is the guy who gets CobraXenoed and then Face Bursted.... I would then assume that Fifield gets the Melted Mask/Helmet treatment. Also the bubble face, that is mentioned does not have a ginger beard and tattoo. It has a slight stubble, so does Holloway. Can I just live in my bubble and pretend it's NOT him until absolutely faced with it on the 8th......it doesn't look like him, i swear!!!!

I know, it's been bugging me too, I assume his face is deformed due to the infection taking hold.

I see a definite Y at the end of his name. There appears to be a WA before the Y. Any other crew members besides Holloway that it could be?

So it is Holloway. That leaked script from last year is seeming to have more and more things right. I wonder if that was an early treatment changed drastically during production?

Recall from the latest featurette where Shaw comes running around the corner in the temple yelling "This is an emergency!" to examine Holloway who is sitting on the ground. The scene cuts to a close up of Holloway's face where there is a long black vein running down the middle of his face and his pupils are rimmed with blood. This is the prelude to Holloway becoming overcome with whatever's in his blood that causes his veins to swell and blacken.

The melting glass helmet is the red headed mohawk dude....confrirmed from a friend working on CGI for movie-
