Is it just me that thinks what ever is attacking Shaw is just too small to be a SJ? It just doesn't look big enough to fill one of those SJ suits you see in the hallways. I'm still thinking that this is something else that was on the planet. Perhaps a previous SJ experiment or a previous crew member. Maybe even Holloway as you can see he goes through some major changes that haven't been too exposed in the trailers so far. Ach well, we'll see. June 1st cannot come quick enough.

I think the engineer is burned after juggernaut crash to the planet. He then came after Shaw to kill her.

@ Rawr Yeah fair do's. Just assumed the things in the halls were suits. Sort of decorated the same way as the human ships, but alieny. I guess it could just be a small SJ. I'm just thinking that they have a massive twist in the film and it won't just be the crew v SJs. I'm also starting to think the cast list was intentionally released with omissions to through people of the scent. Soon see.

@ Azalard, that pic is an deappreciation and cursory exploit of the enigmatic quality of the Space Jockey. Only the visionary cleverness of Ridley Scott could manifest the ambiguous nature of the Jockey by giving us a blue guy in a suit. Take care everyone.

@Xenomorpheus Well we know fifield gets infected and attacks the crew, and also its obvious there's some alien like things with the creature in shaws stomach etc seems to be the start of xenomorphs possibly, but then you have the thing on the roof that already looks like one so idk what to think.

well, if they are two different beings then they are wearing the same armour, clearest to see around the upper arm/side bicep.

[b][u]EDIT/UPDATE[/u][/b] Okay, uh, I took another look at the picture. God help me if I have an ADD moment here when I arrive to this conclusion......the image looks split, like two different images spliced together with Photoshop or GIMP. That door that Shaw's laying next to doesn't look right, though I've not studied much on the interior structures of the ship....

the above guy has same armour in the shot from the rear in the corridor, in the shot of him holding up an axe-wielding Shaw by the throat in Vickers' quarters, and in the shots of him in the orrery

yes it is - the screen cap on the bottom half of the picture is from old trailers, the top half is from the new TV spot. In that TV spot the engineer is holding Noomi - hence why it looks jacked up, theyve airbrushed her arms and legs out but kept her torso check the 'New TV Spot' thread to see the undoctored version of the 'top half' so to speak

I dont think theyre the same. I think one attacks Shaw / the top half and the lower one possibly saves her they look to be of a different state externally Attacking SJ is all rough and burned looking Lower SJ / Whatever it is, is smooth and fresh

Looks a bit short for the Engineer but the two people who claimed to had seen the movie say this thing is Weyland? The one person also claims that the other tenticle monster (not gonna spoil how she says it comes about) but the way she describes it, is exactly the same as ages ago when i posted some images of what someone said it looked like on set and from props... I thought the guy was not telling the truth..... But if this person who said they saw the movie is also telling the truth then both their descriptions of the Xeno type creature in this movie are the same.

Okay...I get it! The plot makes sense now!!! The bald guy is actually Freddy Krueger. You see, the crew of the Prometheus don't actually touch down on any planet at all. They're all having nightmares during cryosleep, and that's when they encounter Freddy, AKA - the bald guy!!! It's now coming together so seamlessly!!! So it is either one of three things. This is the engineer and he got the flame thrower on him (His head was not burnt and crispy as seen in other shots) OR there is an Engineer and something else is floating about? A mutated crew member? Possibility? OR 2 Engineers and one of them got the flame thrower?

Rawr, Amazing! Just that little tiny clip shows how visually stunning the movie is.. you can just watch that clip and just examine it like it's a peice of artwork.. Do you think they are trying to hide the snorkel?
