Terraforming, Hypersleep, and FTL

Hypersleep - The room with the chair/telescope has several SJ size freezers.
Terraforming - The Space Jockeys terraform worlds.
FTL - Both the Prometheus and Donut Ship are FTL.
David 8 - He is biomechanoid. Ridley alludes to "biomechanoids" as being central to the plot.
There are probably more similarities but these come to mind first. Sir Peter Weyland pioneered all these technologies starting with Terraforming.
Could it be Weyland somehow carries genetic memory of the Space Jockey who interacted with stone age humans?
Just a thought.

...Or Weyland developed these technologies from SJ technology he found on Earth. Getting greedy he sought out more of this technology and when Shaw and Holloway discover all the ancient depictions seen in the trailer Weyland correctly assumed it refered to the same race that had created the technology he had and greenlit project Prometheus to acquire more of that technology, unaware of awaited him.
