heres my take on it, ive heard in interviews ridley and lindelof mention the wizard of oz. The idea that behind the curtain is a diapointment in the end. I dont think the guy in the engineer suit is an engineer i think its weyland. I think weyland is the 4th engineer, there are 3 engineers alive in deep sleep, 1 is dead hes had his head cut off while working, so theres room for a replacement. i think peter weyland is on the ship to meet his makers and become like them, and in the end he tries to steal an entire cargo of xeno eggs but fails. Thats how the distress signal must get back to weyland industries and inform them of the dangerous cargo that needs to be brought back to earth for research.

How does he transform into them though, its not like they were created and he somehow gets infected and changes. It doesn't seem likely that anyone becomes one of them for me.

As per wikipedia guy pierce is in the movie for a minute in TED Talk. So if that portion of guy pierce using the engineer suit was added later then this must be the biggest spoiler you're posting.
Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.

I did then with the references to Blade Runner they meant Replicant... And thus if Weyland used the Engineers Fire with a Andriod it would turn it from Synthetic to Bio Mechanical and then we would get a Replicant..... However the two people who claim to have seen the movie, have a different take and that indeed Weyland just sticks the suit on and becomes one.... Bit odd that.... and a disapointment..... IF I WAS WORKING WITH RIDLEY HERE IS WHAT I WOULD DONE... Weyland has 2nd Andriod he combines this with the stuff in the Urn and creates a Synthetic to Replicant and transfers his mind to it...... He also tries to catch Shaws Baby after finding out about it, however it backfires.... Shaws Baby Face Huggs Weyland the Replicant Bio Mechanic and this inturn spawns a Baby Xeno Queen.... and so begins the Cycle..... It may be a bit wacky.... but i think once we see the movie if it is like those viewers said... well my plot sounds much better.... This would be a direct prequel.... i have another idea that would made a none direct prequel with the Xeno already created, killed off Jockeys and then taken away for quarantine on LV 426..... Again however if those viewers who claim to had seen the movie are right well we wont get no real link to Alien at all... I guess thats what happens when you have Lindelof writting for you... It would be interesting to see eventually the Spaihts script and maybe a combination of both movies would had been best... But who knows those suposed people who have seen the movie could be talking complete BS!

guy pearce is in the actual movie the ted piece was added after. the ted piece was a lindelof idea tha ridley scotts son filmed after the film had finished, guy was asked if he wanted to do it once filming had finished and he agreed. Guy is in the movie 1st as a hologram welcoming the team and then when hes re awoken from his death on board the ship. On the weyland industries website it says weyland have invented a piece of equipment that reawakens the dead and restarts their brains working. Thats why in the movie you see an old man in a wheelchair, that old man is peter weyland. what do you think hes up to while there all out exploring ? hes in the lab with david. And they both get up to no good.

I think the whole thing with people seeing it early was bs, the things said could be thought of easily based on the trailers so far and reading into everything a little. How would this suit just work on a human? Who says its even a suit we haven't seen them without it on maybe its part of there bodies.

the suit is the chair, as soon as a person sits in the chair the suit shuts, the helmet and suit come from the chair and fold around and click together, why couldnt a 6 ft weyland containing a xenamorph baby in his gut be seated in a suit built for a 12 ft engineer, that could be the great disapointment. its just weyland. it isnt a creature, a beast, a engineer, its just plain old weyland and a xeno in his ribs growing. both of them locked inside the suit, then weyland is locked inside the suit with the xeno being ripped apart.

the message of the whole film will be, "dont go where your not wanted, dont fuck about with tech you shouldnt know and dont sit in daddys chair"

Yeah the one person who leaked info on Twitter has made some comments that seem real and believable..... But the one who released a summary of the plot after paying £67 to go see a movie they are not even into does not make as much sence, it does share some stuff but also lacks some of the details of the other person on Twitter... Again could they be the same person..... who knows... I think it may be a little disapointing but then again we may all have different views on movies, some hated Alien 3 other never... i thought they was all fine apart from Alien Resurection where for me the plot about cloning Ripley made no sence.... I would rather them had killed her off and cloned parts of the Xeno or Face Huggers found around on the Prison...

@DOLFINESQUE Oh you mean he gets in there just how he is? Sorry i've been reading some people saying the thing that attacks shaw is Weyland or one of the crew members but it has the same body armor/suit whatever you wanna call it as the engineers. I assumed you meant that so yea i guess what you say is possible, but 12ft? That would be twice David's height and from the hologram bit where they show up they aren't to much taller then him i'm sure.

Yeah i also did some estimating over and over and giving that David is about 6ft gave me a height of around about 9ft for the Hollogram Engineers, which also matched the size of the guy walking to the chair and then the one standing in front with the .... body in the back ground and they also came back about that 9ft mark. When i also compared the guy to the chair as it was up and compared his size to the size of Kane and Dallas when they was near the Chair and Jockey does give the impression that he is a fair bit larger than they was to the chair. So that then puzzled me as to the engineer and burnt engineer who we see running through either Prometheus Ship or the Lifeboat and attacks Shaw looks about 7.5ft tops........ maybe its just a blooper and that Ridley never expected people to analyse close up the height of him when attacking Shaw hopping that the illusion is good enough due to Shaws what about 5ft2" frame compared to 7ft1" plus suit frame would give the impression of him being taller... Like this image... where they use a 5ft model next to a 6ft 8" Amazon Eve..... in the shot it looks like the Amazon is much taller than 6ft 8". Maybe we are reading into things to much aswell.... As why cant Engineers vary from say 8-12ft if Men can from 5-7ft

The way i take messurements may not be proven fact lol... But i just did those models from the Zoo Shoot and messured the amazon at 14.3cm the other model 11cm...... which is 1.3X so i divided 6ft 8" by that to give 5ft 1" which is the exact height of that model.... So by same token taking Shaw as 5ft 2" and Vickers as 5ft 10" i compared them to the Engineer running into the same door Vickers does and the one next to Shaw as both averaging out to.... 7ft 2" tall which is what Ian Whyte near enough stands... You would think if Ridley intended the Engineers to be more than 7ft he would have done some video trickery like the LOR Hobbits... But then we are talking about the same guy who had on more than one occation people in shot in Gladiator wearing Jeans so i guess mistakes are possible.....

All we have to say they were more then 7ft is the one scene in Alien as the pilot seat looks huge, but i don't think he would be seriously thinking about this story so long ago and its obviously changed size now and comes out of the floor, its much smaller.
