MemberOvomorphMay-17-2012 4:48 PMUnless it's reported, that kind of stuff is secret.
It's considered rude to some people to ask them how much they get paid.

Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.

MemberOvomorphMay-17-2012 4:57 PMConsidering the huge budget of this film, I would say a good chunk would go into the pockets of RS. Besides the ususal film cost and Charlize, it's a huge budget for this film

MemberOvomorphMay-17-2012 5:22 PMseriously -I reckon Ridley will be pocketing £10 mill from this bad boy!

MemberOvomorphMay-17-2012 5:24 PMHe mentioned it in one of the interviews...$10million is his going rate, plus whatever other deals he works out ad hoc. I think this film has alot of other revenue streams...and he IS an ad man remember, which explains alot of the much vilified adverts associated with Prometheus.

MemberOvomorphMay-17-2012 5:57 PMCouldn't care less how much he pockets as long as its an intelligent, thought provoking film that delivers. I must agree with certain people that say the trailers have revealed a little bit too much...but I have only myself to blame for actually looking! I am positive that there is a world of stuff that Scott is keeping to himself... I don't recall Cameron showing anything of the Queen in the original Aliens trailer...I may be wrong, but I wasn't expecting to see that when I saw it in the cinema in 1987. The things I don't want to see are sloppy CGI transformations!
