The guy with the rifle

In the Indian trailer, we get a good look at the mercenary holding the rifle. The scene is where Ford is shaking and the rifle guy pulls up to shoot something approaching them. We had seen this previously in another clip, as the hand of the engineer approaches Ford. He’s a minor character, but seeing him alive in clips helps to bring some scenes into sequence. This is the same person seen kneeling next to the old man in the wheelchair (Weyland) with David (Shaw is seen collapsing as she enters the room). This is also the same guy firing his pistol in the hanger, as the group looks like they are fighting their way out with the old man. Ford is also seen alive at this time, helping the old man into the hanger area. So it seems to me, there are at least three trips to the temple. Trip #1: The find the severed head they bring back to the ship. The trip is cut short due to the approaching storm. In the recent Vickers featurette, we can see Vickers telling everyone she is going to close the doors in 15 minutes, and they race back to the Prometheus. The storm is right on them and they make it, but Shaw is blown off her feet trying to recover the head. Trip #2: All hell breaks loose on this trip. The return with injured and infected crew members leads to Vickers confronting them at the hanger door with the flamethrower. Trip #3: The mercenaries lead the fight out into the hanger, while Ford and the others help the old man. We know this same mercenary and Ford make it back to the temple again, where they are confronted by the Engineer.
