If you go down there, you'll die

From the way the scenes are cut, you would think Vickers is talking to Holloway and Shaw, but since when did she care about those two? I think she is talking to the old man/Weyland. Also, one scene that has always perplexed me since the first trailers is when the crew members are walking around the hanger with flame-throwers and casually flaming the ground. It just looked strange. What were they doing? Flaming little worm-like parasites……..oh wait. Trip #1 They pick up the head and place it in the bag. Holloway unknowingly gets infected. The trip is cut short when the storm approaches. Vickers orders everyone back and states she is going to close the hanger door in 15 minutes. The crew races back just ahead of the storm until Shaw is blown away, stopping to pick up the head. Trip #2 All hell breaks loose. Milburn dies. Fifield gets infected. Holloway’s infection manifests itself. They head back with Holloway. He collapses and screams as Shaw and Ford try to assist him back onto the ship. Vickers confronts the returning team at the hanger door with a flamethrower. She ends up frying Holloway. One of the crew members approaches his burned corpse and he rises again, still under the influence of his infection. The crew realizes they are dealing with some type of parasitic mind controlling worm/cobra thingy. Trip #3 Old man/Weyland decides he needs to visit the temple. This leads to Vickers saying the line “if you go down there, you’ll die”. Shaw, Ford, David, the mercs, suit up for one more trip to the temple. This is where I can place the hanger scene where crew members are casually walking around with flame-throwers and shooting at the ground. They are prepping for the third trip to the temple and clearing any potential cobras/worms that might be crawling around. Fifield shows up and goes on a rampage. Then we get the scene where the mercs come out firing and the old man/Weyland is being assisted right behind them. Close?

Ooo I like that. I think you might be spot on. I'd imagine Ford and the Mercs bite it during the third trip.

yeah but in this pic you (which i'm assuming happens immediately before Holloway is fried) you can see Fifield and Milburn on the left side of the photo ... Fifield is holding the bag, Milburn is like halfway in between him and the truck. Your text to link here...

What is in the second bag Fifield is carrying?

The previews are always cut a lot, but a recent preview seemed to mesh that Vickers is talking to Shaw and Halloway. Still, there will be at least two trips for sure. I think they run into trouble on the first outing. They get back to the ship and discover something that makes them go back. We also have Shaw rappelling from the Juggernaut, and running from the opening Juggernaut hanger (she must have been there again for some reason). So, Shaw appears to make at least three trips to the Engineer's temple/hanger/spaceship. These types of movies end with the protagonist in a deep and dark pit where they confront the antagonist. I am thinking that would be somewhere in the Juggernaut or in the Engineer base or temple.

I tend to agree though. Vickers has a "tone" of caring in her voice in the sequence. She cares very little about the crew in other spots, but suddenly starts to give a crap? I don't buy it. She's saying it to someone she cares about. Weyland being her father is not that far-fetched. This theory also alludes to the possibility of Weyland somehow being the "thief" of the Prometheus story. Just saying...

If Weyland is Vickers father, I'm gonna walk out of the theater.... What an obvious and pointless thing to put in there.... There's something completely different in her 'agenda' and I honestly believe this is one of the things no one has predicted correctly.
