Alien tie-ins?

I have read that "Universal Soldier" has several ties to "Blade Runner". Read yesterday that "Firefly" pilot shows a "Weyland-Yutani" logo on a display screen in a scene. Does Alien have any other such loose tie-ins?

Hmm, well the Firefly one is easily explained, Whedon wrote the screenplay for Alien 4, resurrection.

@Jelbright: Wrong. The movie that has ties to Blade Runner is just called SOLDIER. Universal Soldier is a different film...
