Was Vickers married?

If Vickers was Weyland's daughter why was her last name Vickers? She didn't seem like she had any emotional attachments like a husband. No ring or pics of him/her in her quarters. She agreed to sleep with Janick also. We're talking 5 years round trip at the least. Who would wait that long?

That's what I thought, Svanya. Or maybe she or old man Weyland changed it to avoid accusations of nepotism.

Yeah I was thinking it might be to cover her identity. Vickers didn't want anyone on board to have any knowledge of Peter Weyland being on the ship since they all thought he was dead.

What I think about Vickers is that RS had mentioned that Vickers is an important character for the film, so there a lot of secrets that yet to be discover from Vickers. But maybe I think she sleep with Janek because she just want to stress out??
