The fate of Holloway when he tries to get back on board Prometheus

Are we sure that person is Holloway? I don't think they would deliver the death of an important character so early...

I dont think he is important.... The most important characters i recon are... Shaw Baby Cuddles and her stages leading to adulthood and what ever offspring she has Engineer Weyland Vickers and David tied... The rest are of no real importance to the plot...

Yeah that's definitely him, I never figured he'd be offed like that though so maybe he does survive.

All I can say "what ever keeps the story moving along..." Burn baby burn!

We don't see if she fries Holloway or merely threatens to, so he does not enter the ship. So both are still possible - she fries him to a crisp, she merely threatens him - as is the possibility that she fries Holloway, but that his type of mutation made him much more resistant to fire than the Fifield creature, so he is back...with a vengeance.

Holloway does get torched there. Does he survive it? Or is that the end of him..if I'm in flames, please shoot me.
