As you can see above this page (the pic to klik to get to the prometheus trailers) Where has it been shown it's a mural? Im just watching the "creation featurette" and at 2:15 you see black goo on top of urn that looks a bit like that xeno shape. anyone else notice?

I agree with you. I never understood why people claim it's a mural, we have no proof whatsoever (also, if it were on a wall it would be a relief, not a mural, but that's being semantic and it is not my point). We don't have any other shots of it, and to be honest, your view about it being the top of an urn that changes shape is more plausible to me.

Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.
