Scene closest to movie ending?

That means that she enters it after the crash, for a reason. However it is possible that the encounter between Shaw and the engineer and the subsequent wrestling between the enginner and the alien creature occurs not inside Prometheus but inside either the escape vehicle or the car/surface vehicle. If that is the case then these are the scenes closest to the movie end. Opinions?

I would say yes this scene is near the end....
As far as what becomes of the remaining crew of Prometheus.
The question is what is she doing?
This is after the Derelict crashes, it must fall over into a position simular to that in Alien.
Also she has a bag with her which is the same bag that is scene that she places on side when she is in the Orrey before David 8 activates the controll panel and Holograms etc. We can also see this bag in the Head off clip with the Engineer infront of the chair as it is nearly raised.
So why has she gone back to the ship to retrive something....
I would also assume this scene is after her encounter with the Engineer and Cuddles grown up.
But we wont know untill we see the movie.

It might be the classic "the baddie is living on the last ship/location of the film"
A bit like Alien and Aliens.

I wonder if at this point she knows/realizes that the company doesn't give two shits about them at all. Or is she still fishing for those "answers" she so desperately wants and needs. Shit I cant put it together! Scott you bastard!

We see Shaw say in a clip before the ship takes off that if "they" make it, there will not be a home to come back to. This spurs Janek to ram the ship, vickers ejects in an escape pod.
I think the ship crashes and Shaw goes into to get the navigation system showing Earth. That way if another SJ comes to investigate what happened to the crashed ship, Earth will not be loaded into the navigation system.
She returns to the life boat and finds her baby creature is all grown up and hungary, Thats When a surviving Eng/SJ comes on board to get the navigation system back, that leads to the fight we see between the baby and the SJ

Dang, that lady sure is frisky after a major abdominal surgery and a near-death experience. Wish I had her energy.

I think Shaw went for the head of David...to repair or remove the memory (as someone said before) for some reason...

Maybe the Bio-Engineer stows away with the intent at first to do Shaw harm, but when it quickly becomes apparant that an even BIGGER menace has stowed away with them both and is currently luking amongst the corridors trying to "consume" them both they then have to form an uneasy alliance with each other to thwart the horrid looking life form. It is also ironic those that are antagonistic former enimies towarsd each other now have to work together in mutual co-operatio for a common goal that is benificial to them both.

I had always found it a bit funny how the scene of the Engineer running through the Corridors/Passage way looks to long to be on the lifeboat.
It seems as though he was running through the passage ways that leads to Vickers Quaters.

Great ideas in this post, but....
Has anyone noticed how the snake creature is exactly the same shape and size as the facehugger, but is only missing fingers? If anyone can post a pic of both you will see both have the flat rectangular side bits but only the facehugger has fingers.
Does it evolve? and does it mean that this particular creature cannot make an original alien or has a different purpose entirely?
May 25, 2012
Yes i did
i also wondered if that cobralien mixed with humans would result in a facehugger that matches compatibility with humans (don't know what to do with predator/alien etc, but i think RS didn't really gave them consideration making this movie)
i'm also more and more convinced (or wrong :s) that the waterfall (sacrificer) is not the same creature as the blue humanoids we will see on lv 223.
but wanna-be's if you can call it that way

Awhile back I posted a thread discussion concerning a scene I think may reveal one of the closest ending scenes which nobody else has seemed to really pick up on which I was kind of surprised to see.
It was shown in one of the earlier teaser trailers where Shaw is laying ontop of a table wearing a white medical gown and a figure wearing a suit reminiscent of the salvage team from Aliens standing over her. She apparently is pretending to be asleep to lure the person in closer and grabs what looks to be a crowbar nearby and wacks him in the head with it. What gives the scene away is the salvage suit, which I have not seen worn by any other character in the trailers we have seen up to this point.
This leads me to think that a rescue ship or team finds her at the end maybe even unconcious. Then when she comes to, she finds herself onboard some vessel in a medical/observation room for what purpose I do not know. However, she must be threatened or overhears something from the guy in the suit that causes her to hit him.
In short, I think this revealed one of the ending scenes to the movie which will probably help setup the story for a potential sequel, should Ridley choose to come back to make a follow-up.
Here is the link for the teaser. The scene I'm referencing is at :32 seconds
