He's like I'm 3 gagillion light years frorm home safe inside or only way off this rock--- I know why don't I jeopardize everybodys health and crack one open for all my homeys. And then pour this crap out and take a bath in it. Brilliant!

I saw the video you are referring to but I dont remember him pouring a bunch out and taking a bath in it. I remember a tiny drop on his finger and him saying his big line, "big things have small beginnings." I didn't see anything wrong with the scene. He is in the lab researching the items they found, of course he would be tinkering around and taking things apart.

It's called hazmat protocol. I work for a major shipper.
There are rules / regulations on handling chemicakls Known. This is unknown substance and he is cracking the bottle open like its News years eve. We had a box unmarked hazmat that had choroform base within it. It leaked out and almost knock a bunch of us out near the box. And you don't see a problem?????? As for for the bath statement
I guess I'll get blast on my posting gagillion light years, danm I should have went with nacozillion

Oh please guys, you must be joking! Red hood was obviously using exaggeration to emphasize his point. Or were you guys just being sarcastic?
EDIT: Maybe takka and terminatus are David 7 models where the modules for metaphores, sarcasm and exaggeration, oh and sense of humor aren't quite sophisticated enough yet. ;-)

@red hood.
I think you have a point.
I have seen a few other comments about the very apparent and sometimes quite staggering general irresponsibility of the crew where those comments are met with innumerable replies along the lines of, "it's only a movie", or, "it's the standard science fiction trope of Foolhardiness which allows the Story to progress".
This is all very true - however, it does seem, to me, based on what we've seen so far, that the portion of Foolhardiness added to this Story seems to have been a little generous.
Scientific and Procedural protocols seem very, very loose amongst these people - to the point you almost wonder how they even got into Space without catastrophe, let alone managed to get to the planet, at all.
It seems peculiar and a little too noticeable that so many Characters are trolling - it may just be the particular selection of sequences that we've seem...I'd hope that it's rebalanced in the Feature by situations and comments that we have not yet seen.
