Hardly breaking news, but this recent interview with Guy Pearce confirms that Peter Weyland is appearing in Prometheus in more than flashback: http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/movies/at-home-in-an-alien-world-20120526-1zays.html Guy Pearce has never looked worse. His skin is wrinkled and blotchy. His hair is grey and thin. His body is frail and vulnerable. It's hard to believe this is the man who, as a teenager, won the Mr Junior Victoria bodybuilding contest. To play the part of elderly businessman Peter Weyland in Prometheus, Pearce spent hours in the make-up chair each day, having those famous cheekbones hidden beneath prosthetic wrinkles and blemishes. In character, he doesn't look a day under 90. ''Oh, thanks,'' Pearce says. ''I thought the work the make-up team did was fantastic.''

Does he appear in a flashback? From what i hear the crew see him via hologram on board the Prometheus in which he will still have to look old etc,

Mmmmm.......... dunno if it at all qualifies as a "spoiler," especially on this site, lessee, we've had:- Vickers is Weyland's daughter Weyland was on the planet waaaaaaaaaay before the Prometheus even got there Weyland BECOMES the Engineer ( I still shake my head at those ones, particularly when someone tried to say Noomi Rapace (Shaw) became the Engineer, so far I think it's been theorized that ALL the Prometheus crew becomes Space Jockeys at some stage or another) Weyland is hidden in Vicker's suite abord the Prometheus (which may actually be legit) Weyland directs the whole operation without any of the crew ever finding out he's on board.............. Anyone else remember what else we've seen in regards to Weyland? I know there's tonnes of it, I just can't think properly right now...................

Ridley said that the audience would be shocked at one seen in the movie, just like in Alien when the Xenomorph ripped through Kane's stomach. Imagine what David 1 has stated. That the hybrid/Xenomorphs in this film actually come out through the rectum. That would be crazy and shocking at the same time.
