Trailer soundtrack

The Wailing noise? It's just trailer music not in the film I dont think wasnt in Alien either just suspense music. Iv listened to the entire soundtrack and its not present. Would of been good if it was though

I've just watched the original trailer for Alien. I didn't realise they just copied the same noise. Aww! that should be in the Movie! Ridley if you're reading this......

I know it should its really atmospheric. Prometheus soundtrack still really good though, quite dark and epic. The 'Engineers' track and 'Space Jockey' being personal fave's. The reason they added the siren noise in Prometheus trailer i think is to make fans click to the alien connection. Even though the space jockey ship is a dead giveaway

Yeah I didn't put the 2 together as it's been a long time since I watched the original Alien I only just figured it out after watching the Alien trailer again. I'm seeing prometheus friday so I'm watching the original Alien on thursday night to get in the mood hehe. My wife thinks I'm nuts!!

Wow same as me! My gf thinks im nuts doing it too. Im making her sit through Gladiator tomorrow, Blade Runner Wednesday and Alien Thursday. She cant complaing though she's really excited too (tried coercing her to join site..she looked at me funny lol)

@Space Jockey - Chr1s. Well my misses wanted to see prometheus too but she cant handle horror and 3d simultaneous. I just couldn't wait for the 2d showing. @Crazydave. Thanks I've actually just found it on youtube but not with sirens. However there's another version on youtube with the sirens. I'm going to rip the audio from youtube to mp3.

@Paul426 Looks like you've got two trips to the cinema then my friend lol Watching a film in 3D then 2D is weird for me cos then i start picking out the scenes that are meant to be 3D, you can actually sort of notice through a kind of weird bendiness in the scope of the camera at times. (noticed in final Harry Potter). Me and gf have got bang in middle, premier seats watching in Imax 3D, so excited!!
