How many here saw Alien in 1979?

I saw it when i was 10 years old. My aunt and new uncle took me to see it. Had nightmares for months. My mother bought me a alien garbage can for my room, and an alien doll. Wish i still had it. I will not be taking my 12 year old son to see it. Going by myself. LOL

I was born in 1985......so, if I'm lucky, Prometheus will be my own "1979 Alien" experience. Trying to think of it as a "passing on to the next generation" thing...

I didn't see alien until 1988. I was 7. I couldn't stop watching it.
