So, the cat is out of the bag here and we know that Shaw leaves on a personnel mission, to get more answers or for payback. Prometheus felt short but I feel he was compressing everything into a 2 hour slot which could of been done longer, I mean look at Titanic and Avatar, both longer than Prometheus. Also, has Damon L perhaps ruined what could of been and perhaps in the future Scott will get a different writer. Lastly, I commend the site and staff for taking care of this forum. Lastly, I believe this is a bigger universe and I know there is probably so much Scott wanted to put in, so, I guess we will have this forum for years to come until the sequel, Scott willing gives us more of this beautiful and dark universe. I think 2 hours was just too small to explain this grand universe. I am hoping Scott learns from this and hears from the fans and not those pesky film critics who failed film school and are not creative.

Yeah, the tone should have been slower in lots of scenes. I enjoyed it though. Also, the movie lacked BLOOD!

Hell, even James Cameron had to fight with Fox a bit regarding Sigourney Weaver's pay. Could you imagine the crap that would have been released if they went ahead and they typecast Ripley?

I def believe the studio plays a big part in this. I imagine Scott had to fight for the 2 hours and perhaps the rating. I just hope we have more invested writers and I hope that the next film really goes in depth as it should. I feel Damon and Spaiths need to be replaced and some veteran writers enlisted for this universe. I just really dislike them...

..and I really dont think that the Alien from the Engineer is a queen...if it was a Cameron film yes, but it's not... As Garth said to Wayne in Waynes World when he was looking at the Guitar.. I say this too the people who want xenos and queens.. Let it go man! Just let it go!
