Calm Down Peeps

Unfortunately, the contents of the reviews do not reflect the scores. And regarding the imdb score, I confess I underestimated the die hard fans, I guess there are lots of these guys submitting 10s without haven't actually seen the film. Imdb user reviews are half positive, half negative... how do you explain that

Sorry, but regardless of what the "tomato" meter says... The movie is luke warm at most. Most of those scores are from fanboys who havent seen the movie doing damage control. fanboys is funny peoples like that.

no, from what i can see from the reviews its the fan-boys who saw it that are giving it bad reviews, complaining how it did not explain alien, the good reviews seem to be from regular movie critics. from what i can tell this movie will be a solid B+/A- good but not quite great. alien would be an A+ and resurrection would be an F- if you need reference lol

Yeah pretty much. I don't think it deserves better than Alien, but it's on par with Aliens imo.

I will see it for the first time in 7 days. 5 hours 20 minutes and 32 seconds......not that I'm counting. ; )

I love how the haters of this movie call out the ones who give it a good review by calling then fan boys and then say they are just trying to give praise to it pump up the ratings so it won't flop so bad. Well, wtf are they trying to do with their negative reviews?! Seems to me they are the ones who have blown their expectations for this movie to hell...not the other way around!

What I don't understand is why people who haven't watched the movie think that those who gave raving reviews are absolutely right or blind and excited fanboys, while those who gave negative reviews are assholes or people who had very high expectations and got totally disillutioned or angered. It can also be that those people (either positive and negative reviewers) gave their HONEST opinions, without being clouded by fanboy/hater dynamics.

@ Nox. I agree mate... People should be able to make there own judgements on what they have seen and be able to comment without being jumped on.. I saw Prometheus last night but i am beginning to wish i hadn't..lol
