Note: This review has been marked "spoiler-free". Any spoilers posted will be removed (the entire post). -----------------------------------------------------------------Went to see Prometheus this morning. I don't have time to go into it in too much detail now but suffice to say I loved every minute of Prometheus and intend to go and see it again tomorrow (and already has plans to see it with other friends on Sunday too - yes, I would happily watch this 3 times in 3 days). Given how many trailers I have seen and spending weeks on the forums, I still thoroughly enjoyed the ride, was still surprised by the story and was riveted from beginning to end. Definitely a love it or hate it film but I totally bought into it and was not disappointed in any way. I will update this with a more detailed review later on. For those going to see it, enjoy! Oh, do try and see it in 3D - definitely the best use of 3D in some time.

hi RobG: I am very glad you enjoyed the flick. But do answer me 1 very simple question [without spoilers please] does the SJ/Engineer get his own screen time? [i.e. Does it show the dude doing his stuff, so much as we can have a real full body moving visual of him?] Thx

David 1 - just back from watching it. Space Jockey gets very little screentime, underused and as I've heard someone else describe him 'Jason x'. All IMO of course

i'd disagree with the above post, I thought the engineer was used very wisely indeed once i'd seen the ending. Am wondering how much was cut to get a 2Hr screentime too, am sure there's going to be a longer version of this at some point. Really blown away by it.
