MemberOvomorphJun-01-2012 2:03 PMI haven't seen Prometheus yet; however, I couldn't help but feeling a "Lost In Space" vibe in that scene from the trailer where David opens the entrance to a chamber in the temple and says "OOOps" Then starts touching the urns, I assume irresponsibly... Good old Dr. Zachary Smith used to do things like that, always putting the Robinsons' lives in peril. I also find the sets to be a little bit "staged" as opposed to the more organic look of the original Alien sets, another point that reminds me to the old tv series. Any opinions?

MemberOvomorphJun-01-2012 2:05 PMi thought the sets looked much better in 3D than anything i've seen in the films, and the photos.
There's a threepio moment (with David) that i loved. His performance was amazing.

MemberOvomorphJun-01-2012 2:27 PMThe "Oooops" expresion sounds so childish and anti-climatic to me... Imagine John Hurt exclaiming "Oooops" at the sight of the egg opening in 1979's Alien...

MemberOvomorphJun-01-2012 2:34 PMI just hope nobody in Prometheus uses the expression "Seriously??", dumbest expression ever, so overused in the movies right now

MemberOvomorphJun-01-2012 3:00 PMThe thing about Alien's dialogue that made it great was... the lack of it (when the scene called for it.) Hurt's expression, mannerisms, said it all.
"Sounds" like Prometheus could've used a little more "quiet" time. The mark of a master director is his use of silence.
