PONDERING PROMETHEUS (spoiler-free)

Any spoilers posted will be removed (the entire post).[/size] ----------------------------------------------------------------- I don't have the time for an analytical full review now but i will say that they could of got away with a pg 13 i think the R rating will give some viewers an inflated expectation of what's in store . On the whole i thought it was great in places and poor in others not a masterpiece / classic by any stretch, but an entertaining sc fi film with some moments of dazzlement, and some moments of disappointment, and the dialogue was in places poor, and some scenes hurried, and lacked emotional weight in their execution .Then again there were moments visually speaking that were awe inspiring, a real mixed bag of pros, and cons, reminded me of the consensus of blade runner first time round when that was released and the love it, hate it, opinions that produced at the time. Maybe time and repeat viewings will bear its place in film history. I for one am hoping there will indeed be a longer better cut to come on blue ray or am i just wishful thinking my score 7/10.
