vase black stuff and ampoule?

i think it's some kind of bio-weapon that changes organisms into aggressive beings, at least that's what i got from the film. fifield gets it on him and he turns apeshit, those strange mealworms swim in it and turn into the cobrasnake thing. i am completely wrong i'm sure but it certainly seemed that way.

What ever is in the glass ampoules that David broke is different then, wander what would have happened to holloway if he hadn't been set on fire?

i reckon Holloway would've possibly turned into something similar to Fifield, that's why i think he sacrificed himself because he gets a bit violent with the two chaps helping him up.

I think you might have missed the scene where he leavs a foot print and worms appear and when missed with the blck gue it evolves into the snake like creature. This planet is a bio form creation. And the black DNA in the ampules is the basic form of alien. Ie the painting on the wall. And the ship captin was right. What you have to ask is why did the space jockey leave a invite to that planet. Questions questions questions
