*SPOILERS* I saw the movie tonight at a special premiere screening in Doha, Qatar. I just went back and read the Wikipedia plot, and it is 100% accurate. The movie sucked. The story made no sense and was all over the place. Some of the imagery and effects were beautiful, but some didn't even look that great. I was surprised about that. For example, in the scene at the end where the engineer is mouth-raped by Shaw's offspring and also in the later, final scene where the xeno jumps out of his chest, the engineer, Shaw's offspring, and the xeno all look kind of fake. Just not believable at all. We have all been sold a bill of goods - this thing was overhyped to death and in no way lives up to to all of the time and energy we all put into reading about it, speculating about it, analysing it, etc. Sorry to have to confirm that, but it's true.
