Prometheus opens in 3rd place in Europe

Again, the debate of a "PG-13" rating (or the European equivalent) vs. an "R" rating. As I recall, Ridley was open to a PG-13? Perhaps it would have doubled the opening weekend's take?

huntsman opened in 45 markets, prometheus in 15 markets. So the amounts are not comperable at the moment.

I did hear it's the biggest opening for an RS film to date.

Prometheus is gonna do great at the box office....everyone is curious and even the haters wanne watch it again..ironically?....why watch a movie if you did not like it the first time?....it's working it's mojo.....gonna be a huge commercial success!....the sequels are inevitable!

Prometheus was #1 in 14 out of the 15 markets it opened in:O) The OP is incorrect.

I was there for the opening midnight release in Cardiff and it was sold out in 2 screens.
