Why did Holloway, as a scientist, took off his helmet, as he perfectly knew that its own breathing could pollute the air in the chamber ? - its not that ...its opening the door that change the air condensation ...if the air is breathable and safe why not removing the helmets ? i fint nothing strange there What were the holographic SJs fleeing from ? Except from the one decapitated , where did the others go ? - there were escaping from monsters generated by the black goo , i think that is pretty clear How can 2 people be lost, whereas they could ask the ship for the way back ? - yup btw i dont think the 3d scan was completed yet Why the biologist tried to pet this obviously pissed-off cobralien ? Has he forgottent the simple basic rules of caution when encountering a new species ? -you have an idea of how many people die every year forgetting the basic rules of caution ?? why he did die on that route at 120kmh when the limit was 70 ??? Why the probes did not track the worms in the chamber ? - too little ? every scanning device have some minimum limits What happened to the lifeform tracked at the entry of the sj shuttle (1 klick west of Fifield) ? Did the probe tracked the SJ sleeping ? And if not why did it disappear ? - that is hair splitting huh ... Why the storm wasn't detected long before they decided to go inside the ruins ? - i think is generated somewhat by the changing of condition of the temple Why David put that goo into Holloway's drink ? And why Vickers let the first time all the people come back since they took off their helmets ? - why not ? they did alot of security scanning How many people were killed by Fifield ? And how many died from the final exlosion of the prometheus ? final explosion surely 3 ....by fifield 2o 3 ..dont remember Did Shaw knock out the two people (especially the doctor) who tried to put her to sleep after knowng she was imregnated ? Why wasn't she followed after fleeing and before the C-section scene ? - no one did know that vickers had a medpod there Why the same doctor was found taking care of Weyland, just after the C-section ? Did she forgot that Shaw escaped ? -i dont think is the same doctor Why Vickers wasn't attacked by Cuddles as she left in the escape pod ? Had she noticed there was a monster in it ? - cuddles was inside the medchamber ...closed ..growing

Here are my thoughts on your questions!!! In the trailer David said to Shaw "Tell me you can read this". But in the film (in french), this question is asked to David.... Have you noticed that ? REPLY - I have never seen that in any trailer - the question is always asked to David? Why the exploration team let David opening the doors ? REPLY - Because Holloway was arrogant and reckless. This team is just a bunch of scientists, why does everyone think they are ethical and play by the rules? REPLY - Maybe because they are not programmed to pick up that type of life - it picked up the Engineer as has similar DNA to us but the worms are likely very different - e.g. acid for blood etc. What happened to the lifeform tracked at the entry of the sj shuttle (1 klick west of Fifield) ? REPLY - Again this is an alien planet - it may not have the same weather patterns as Earth. REPLY - Vickers isnt a scientist - the scientists didnt call for a quarantine, so she has no need to lock them out. When the quarantine WAS called, you saw how Vickers reacted How many people were killed by Fifield ? And how many died from the final exlosion of the prometheus ? REPLY - Why does that matter?! REPLY - Because Vickers wasnt in the lifeboat - which was ejected first and what Cuddles was in - Vickers was ejected in the escape pod I do appreciate some of your questions but have to ask how you can enjoy a film when you question such tiny details!!! It is a film, just go with - if everyone asked all these questions, there would be pretty much no sci-fi, action, adventure films out there!!! They are all silly and illogical in some way!

I though the OP questions were perfectly valid and if it wasn't for such poor script writing we wouldn't be asking them. To answer them with 'because it's a movie' kinda defeats the purpose of having a forum where people can ask questions

@TheNextLV426 - yeah and MY OPINION is that they werent questions worth asking - debate runs both ways I am afraid and that is mine. There is so much nit picking these days - some of the greatest movies of all time are frikkin ridiculous and its cool because they are movies!!! If I want realism, I will watch a documentary. And my other argument to those who bitch about bad scripts....if you can do better, go ahead - instead of bitching about it, why dont you show them how to do it??!! There was nothing wrong with the script - by no means an Oscar winner, but far better than some of the other turds witnessed over the last few years.
