Would it be racist of me to mention that all the engineers pretty much look the same?

they are not human, so it is like sayin, all chimpanzees faces look the same.

The hood he wears reminds me of Satan from Passion of The Christ (albeit the Engineer here is obviously more masculine in appearance). I didn't imagine the Engineers to use such clothing, either, but whatever the case, I like that image. (:

No, the Engineers are completely practical, except the scene where one is being strapped into the chair. There's an interesting article about the development of new prosthetics they used to create the look. One requirement, was to make them look like statues. It's amazing to me, how much they ended up looking like classical Greek sculptures brought to life.
