No fucking way I stick my face over that! Of course, I wouldn't get within ten feet of that space-cobra, either.

I'm happy to never criticise or speak of Prometheus on the following conditions:- People stop saying I didn't enjoy it because of my expectations. People stop saying I didn't enjoy it because I wanted an Alien film. People stop saying I didn't enjoy it because it didnt explain the SJ in the chair from Alien. People stop saying shitty characters and lack of coherent story are 'minor quibbles'. People stop saying the script is complex, multilayered and nuanced. People stop saying it gets better after repeated viewings like thats a good thing. People stop making shit up to explain illogical character actions.

Hmmm. I saw it. I understood it. It just wasn't very good. To each his own, though. The Transformers movie had two sequels, so why shouldn't Prometheus?

Good point takka, I saw the Transformers films and I didn't like them. Does that mean I didn't get them either? Because that is about as logical as assuming everyone who disliked Prometheus did not get it.

That's alright, not being a Transformers fan and not knowing the various robots involved, I had no clue what was punching what during the fight sequences... And 3 movies later, I still don't (or care). But I'll see the re-boot that's in pre-production when it comes out in a year or 2.
