xenos in prometheus 2

who cares about any links, or any "xenos" a good film would be a wondrous place to start! Lets see if they can do that first before worrying about any xeno creatures

further vesting in the origins of the engineers and "why" (no xeno's)-for the 2nd film and then turning back towards a direct tie in to alien (with xeno evolution into the alien film) -on the 3rd film. sounds good, bit of both--all loose ends being covered.

Don't know how that'll turn out... To me there are conflicting ideas in the movie. We are led to believe that the "proto-xeno" we see at the end of the movie is the result of some very odd mutations: infected Holloway impregnates Shaw who gestates a new alien which in turn impregnates an Engineer, from whom a "proto-xeno" is born! Maaaaannnnnn....... Seems very accidental, but on the other hand, we see the alien (or something very similar) on a mural in the chamber with all the urns! Which means it existed already! I hope a sequel is three or four years down the line, but I'm also hopping they can explain all of this (and a lot more?... :P )

Maybe he was only trying to satisfy those people desperate for some kind of connection to Alien and give them their, "DNA link"? Maybe in the hope that would finally be the end of it. Perhaps he was only addressing those same people who wanted to convince the World this would be a direct Alien prequel and that there would, in fact, be xenomorphs jumping out of shadows and that Ridley Scott was just telling a lot of sneaky lies to fool everyone and, "not make it obvious". Well, we can see how those assurances turned out... If you take Prometheus, it seems obvious he isn't much interested in xenomorphs - the Story seems nothing to do with them. I'd be a little surprised if he then decides to make it something to do with them in subsequent parts of this tale - [i]if[/i] there are any subsequent parts. @SamboJim 100%.
