Does anybody know what is the piano composition that can be heard at the beginning of the movie while David is strolling through the corridors of the Prometheus?. And what is the violin composition that is being performed by the girl at the end of the movie? any other music tracks in the film apart from the score?

It's the Chopin prelude for piano in D Flat Major. Here's the list from the end credits, including the misspelled Stills title... PRELUDE FOR PIANO NO. 15 IN D FLAT MAJOR, OP. 28 NO. 15 Written by Frédéric Chopin THEME FROM ALIEN Written by Jerry Goldsmith SCHERZO – TARENTELLE IN G MINOR, OP. 16 Written by Henryk Wieniawski „O COME ALL YE FAITHFULL Traditional LOVE THE ONE YOUR WITH Written by Stephen Stills

That Chopin tune is so beautiful :-) Memories of Green from Blade Runner has a Chopin vibe to it

I did some checking on Amazon, and I'd say the Chopin piece is from this CD... http://amzn.com/B00002DE5F

I just found out the violin composition by the girl at the end is: Henryk Wieniawski - Scherzo Tarantelle Op 16.

Since I need it to edit into my fan edit of Prometheus.

2025 I'll finish the most elaborated fan edit of Prometheus ever created.

I have to adjust my findings, listened more closely and it's actually: Henryk Wieniawski: Violin Concerto No. 2 in D Minor, Op. 22: III. Allegro confuoco.

Sorry for the confusion.

2025 I'll finish the most elaborated fan edit of Prometheus ever created.
