Few Improved Changes to Script i would have made...

Hiya all.... This thread is going to be about a few changes i would make to some scenes in the movie and also add one scene that i think would have made some improvements over how things went down. Before that i would like to say that there was a few plot holes that i wont touch upon in the main post but would in replies.... A gripe i had was that i felt some scenes could have been done longer and had some more debth and detail and dont mean explain unanswered questions etc... So here are a number of changes and additions i would have made..... SPOILER SPOILER... By reading my changes you will get a lot of spoilers to what went on, so best avoid untill after you seen the movie unless you want certain plot points spoilt somewhat... As prior to these scenes i felt the movie flowed well and was done well. Change/Edit Scene 1...... Janek and Vickers Flirt Scene..... This one is a simple change... when Janek says "are you a robot" Vickers should reply "well i am off to my room now and you will never know" This takes away the Cheesy scene where she says "my room 10 minutes" and it would leave speculation to if Vickers is a Andriod... but mainly the changed reply would fit more with the cold Character of Vickers... As i cant buy that she would be interested in the fact its been at least 2 years odd since she has had sex.... i would assume that the Mission or its failure is more important to her than to just jump in bed with Captain Cool because she has not had no Nooky for a while. ================================== Change/Edit Scene 2...... The Temple Fifield and Milburn post attack.... I felt the aftermath of the Cobraxeno/Hammerpede Scene could have been delt with better... I mean we see Milburns dead body and then some Organism jump out of his mouth but this is a bit of a wasted chance to show what the Hammerpede had done... Now i liked this bit of unused Concept work... Maybe they could have had Milburn change into this, or what ever jumped from his mouth change into this..... but then again with only a crew of 20 inc Weyland and David, maybe we cant go have this walk around and attack crew as their is limited amount for so many potential death scenes. And besides we dont want to many Xeno DNA Organisms in the movie.... So my proposed change would be about the missing Fifield... after they find Milburn and then pick up Holloway so either prior to David seeing the Ghost Engineers activate the controll panel, or maybe after that scene but prior to showing the other crew head back in the ATV with Holloway.. I would cut to a scene with Fifield, showing him mutating and mutating into this guy... Thus we would wonder what Holloway is changing into in the next scene when he is showing signs of some kind of changes to his face.... ================================== Change/Edit Scene 3...... The Fifield Cargo Bay Attack.... Simple one really, as in my idea we already see Mutated Fifield... i would have the scene of him getting up to attack the Mechanic on the Ramp to be using this unused concept instead... [url=http://www.avpgalaxy.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/fiefie11.jpg]Fifield Hybrid[/url] Thus we would see some Alien DNA in his mutation rather than Swollen Head... i would also add a little more detail to this Hybrids attack (but we may have that already just it has been cut for a cert 15). ================================== Change/Edit Scene 4...... The Awakening of the Engineer.... I would change it as follows.... After David talks to him, i would have had Weyland grab the Engineer by his legs and beg him for the secrets to make him Imortal "please, please, tell me your secrets i dont want to die, give me imortality i beg of you" Then have seen play out as it does... But after he throws the Merc, pick up a alive Ford and stick her into the Cryo Chamber and seal it shut.... This would give Ford a ultimate fear of being buried alive and would make viewers wonder if she could survive in Stasis, then when she comes to she could well be stranded on this moon with all those creatures.... Then i would have Weyland trying to talk to David "help me David, help me please" David replies "sorry i cant, every king has his day" Weyland "help me son, please" Then have the Engineer come back from putting Ford into the sarcophagus, walk over to Weylands body and kneel over him and give him the same look he gave when David was talking to the Engineer. The Engineer looks down upon a helpless Weyland, and Weyland says "help me, i dont want to die" The Engineer watches Weyland as his life slips away..... we then see David start to twitch and say "good night father" Then go to the rest of the scene where Engineer activates the Pilot Chair ================================== Change/Edit Scene 5...... Engineer Attack on Shaw.... I would add this deleted scene.... [url=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/210/2qcicli.jpg/]Deleted Scene[/url] Then show Shaw hit him with Axe and get away only to lead to the scene where he pushes Shaw up the wall and then she opens the door that contains Cuddles her Baby Grown up.... ================================== Change New End Scene..... Engineer waking up.... I would have gone for After Shaw gets David and takes off in other Derelict, i would have had the Engineer get up and make his way back to the Derelict (i mean Kane did manage to get about after the Face Hugger came off and prior to Chest Burster). We then show him get back into the Chair, only no soon as he puts the helmet on, we then get the Chest Buster scene... This would add to mystrey and make people think this must be the Alien link.... while in his Chair.... but then how can this be as its LV 223... not LV 426... So leaves a mystrey.... does LV 223 become LV 426? ================================== Change Additon End Scene.... Derelict on LV 426..... Provided Ridley has no intention of using this new Proto Xeno as the ancestor of the Xeno, and be that he wants it as a new Monster.... and provided Ridley wants to explain the Xeno was created prior and then shut the door on the traditional Xeno and never go back... Do another scene showing a Derelict flying in Space.... cut to a Engineer suited up in the Pilot Seat, and show this Derelict has no sarcophagus.... Then cut to some kind of alarm going off..... Cut to the Derelict having to make a emergency crash landing on a darker more baron moon... Then cut to the Egg Chamber and show one of the Eggs to be open.... Fade to Black and roll Credits... This last scene would explain Alien Derelict, it would not show no Xeno, no Face Hugger no Chest Buster.... You would just know that a different Derlelict was in space and had to land because one of the Egg Cargo got lose and then landed on LV 426... or as you would assume.... No date would be given, but you would rule out 2094 and LV 223 because of the Engineer in Prometheus getting Chest Busted as a result of Shaws Baby Squid Face Hugger... So you would assume it was many years prior and maybe around 2000 years ago at same time of the dead Space Jockeys... This would give us the Alien link, that would please fans without Xenos, Face Huggers etc. It would allow Ridley to close the door and never visit or have to visit the Traditional Xeno ever again..... ALIEN LINK DONE AND DOOR CLOSED... So what do you think guys, i feel these scenes would have improved the movie quite a lot...
