Goðafoss- Fall of the Gods

Sorry if this has been posted before but I was just looking on google earth and came across this. Type this in to google and look at the images: Goðafoss Or have a look on google earth/maps: 65°40'58.91"N 17°33'4.54"W Do you guys reckon its the one from the film? Sure looks like it..and the name is also Fall of the Gods And this is taken from Wikipedia: "In the year 999 or 1000 the Lawspeaker Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði made Christianity the official religion of Iceland. After his conversion it is said that upon returning from the Alþingi, Þorgeir threw his statues of the Norse gods into the waterfall". Actually I think I may be wrong...I think it might have been filmed at Dettifoss waterfall (below) [img]http://www.sanmarkotravel.com/images/IJsland/Egilsstadir-Dettifoss-Myvatn/Egilsstadir_Dettifoss_Myvatn_08.jpg[/img] Still the Goðafoss waterfall story has some similarity with the trowing of a god statue in to the water and the beginning of Prometheus. Maybe Ridley heard the story of Goðafoss and based his idea loosely on that but decided Dettifoss looked better on film.
