Vickers' Abnormally Strong Vodka!

Okay, so after watching Prometheus a second time, I focused on more of the things in the background than the focal point of the screen throughout the film. One of the things I noticed and thought was funny was in one of the final scenes after Vickers' life boat is detached and crashes on the planet's surface. Okay, so remember when earlier Vickers asks to speak with Shaw and Holloway and orders David to make them a drink? David leaves the bottle on the counter. Now, fast forward to the when the life boat crashes and Shaw enters it with the axe. The inside of the room is tarnished after the crash, ebverything's broken and flashing lights are going off. But as shaw comes around the corner, you see in the background where the bar is, that SAME Vodka bottle is standing upright, unharmed by the crash! Of all things, you would think a glass bottle, not bolted to the floor would get flung against a wall and smash as a result of the crash, but nope. Weyland only invests in the strongest of Vodkas. ; ) Haha Just one of the interesting things I noticed watching Prometheus the 2nd time. When you watch it again, look for this! You will see it! Whether it was done on purpose, I don't know. Made me laugh though.

BH - Good catch! Can you spell "continuity?" You and I were the guys looking for the plastic tanks in godzilla movies and wires whenever model aircraft and spacecraft were shown in flight on tv right? Hope you enjoyed it!

How about the undamaged David's head and body lying close one to the other after the huge collision

@Arkadine, I at first thought that was inconsistent as well, but after thinking on it, David's body and head are thrown to the back of that pilot chamber after it crashes, which makes sense based on how it lands. His head and body are thrown to the back, but where are the rest of the dead members, Weyland, Ford and the bodyguard? Physics would dictate that all things not bolted down would have been thrown to the back of the room (where gravity would be strongest during the fall). So, where are the rest of the dead bodies?
