I am noticing a lot of folks are saying something is a plot hole when it was shown, but some of the cuts are just seconds (for example, some missed that there was small worms on the temple floor, which turned into the snake bits that killed two of the crew. ) I think a lot of folks might catch more on a 2nd viewing.

Oh, please Prometheus is anything but subtle... I would use the word "obscure" or "muddled" instead.

I'd also go with "clunking" rather than "subtle"

Don't misunderstand me, it was fun nonetheless, it's just Ridley made some odd choices here

Ive watched it 3 times now but I didnt miss ANYTHING 1st time round. Watching it the 2nd and 3rd time just made it easier because I knew the outcome...you cant really get disappointed again unless you have amnesia after watching it the first time lol Thats why I enjoyed it more the 2nd and 3rd time I think...not because I missed something or didnt understand something.

@allinamberclad I could post my list of plot holes and inconsistencies again if you want.. it is looooooong hehe Yeah I wondered if by the year 2093 simple life forms has already been discovered outside planet Earth. Because if not, for any man of science it would make a world of difference to find just the tiniest of bacteria, not to mention worms. I wonder if Milburn, the biologist, suffered from brain damage during cryo stasis, because be must be the dumbest character I've seen in the movies ever.

I didn't miss any worms. But while we're on the subject of worms, maybe you can explain how the probes managed to pick up the Engineer life form behind that door half a kilometre away but not the worms in the soil beforehand?.. Or how come Fifield and Milburn could possibly get lost when Fifield was the one who sent the probes and they were his little "pups", and their job was supposed to be to "map" the joint?.. There's actually quite a long list of these... I see people are doing a little word substitution, so let me try one: "incoherent".
