Alien vs Predator

MemberOvomorphJune 09, 2012738 Views3 RepliesOkay, the Alien vs Predator movies weren't exactly brilliant however they still exist. But at the end of Prometheus we saw the first evolutionary form of the Xenomorph, many years after the Alien vs Predator films were set. Now in the AVP films apparently the Predators had been hunting the aliens on Earth for THOUSANDS of years. Quite obviously here, we have a large clash.
Now I'm hoping what Ridley Scott has done is ignored the AVP films but otherwise he's mucked up big time here. In fact the only way he could save it would be to use time travel but let's be fair, time travel is not the style of this franchise and it would also make it so cheesy I think I'd throw up.
And there we have it, as brilliant as Prometheus was, there's one more thing that annoyed me about it.

The Xenomorph in the Prometheus is a redesign, and amendment made by the Engineers after the events that led to the crash/landing on LV-426.
Therefore Prometheus does not counter anything from AVP.
