this thread, on the different hieroglyphic languages and is-it-Greek is-it-Sumarian is-it-Biblical origins questions, suggests (to me) a real-horrorshow scenario: The Prometheus Mini-Series, not directed by Scott.
You know, rather than a second and third feature film that gets us to Alien (1979).
