Sean Harris {Fifield's} Incredible Soliloquy!

maybe I am just strange that way and find dialects I haven't heard before or just not that often delivering lines like that one are very prescious, I thought the guy who played Fifield was AWESOME.

mourning the passing of a great character here....like cowbell, MORE FIFIELD only mistake I could find in the movie LOL

You think that is good writing? Everything you just described there points out the main flaws of the movie. 1) the characters are stupid. No weapons, no protocol, opening secret doors etc etc etc. No fear, no precaution. 2) The characters are nothing but 1 liners. That portion of Fifield is his only contribution to the entire movie, which is to say comically out of place. Alien planet, alien ship, and jokes. It would have made more sense that he refused to take off his helmet and bugged out after releasing his scanning devices and said that little tibit. That would have made my day by basically saying "you are all nuts I'm getting the hell out of here". But he's just as idiotic and out of place as everyone else.

Fifields "overacting" when shouting on shaw "I LOOOVE ROCkS" was bad at all. But thats the job of the director and especial the screenwriter, to put the words into their mouths, and the words spoken in prometheus are not very intelligent at all. I found annoying that Mrs. Fickers was such a bad "authority". Fickers: "We dont stop anything. This is my ship, and we go home now" Captain: "You have 40 seconds to leave the ship." Haha. Fickers:" My name is Meredith Fickers. Who have been hired by me, nice to see you again " (icecold, unfriendly- did she ever have a leading-management-education? dont think so). "Its my job to make sure you do yours". Aha. So this non-authority Mrs. Fickers wants to make anything sure? Interesting. She can only make sure that she is a boring bitch. Fickers:"What did he say?" David:"I dont think he wants me to tell you.." Fickers: "WHAT DID HE SAY...!%&%" David: "A cop of tea, mam`?" Stupid overacting by mrs. fickers. No, i dont think Theron deserved a "AND Charlize Theron" in the credits. The "and" is for "special, funny, horrible or otherwise outstanding characters" in a movie. And that was for me DAVID. The character you will think about for longer time. About Mrs. Fickers you even dont think while you watch her in the movie... She is frustrated cause her Weyland-Dad does not like her so much like she needs, and maybe because she is not the authority she would like to be. Everyone is laughing at here. Even the black goo is not willing to infect her as she is SOOO boring!

spacey..ok now THAT was funny..lol...wanna see more of that Weyland loved David more than his daughter, simple as that, formative of her personality

I thought Fifield's stupidly over-aggressive rant was one of the most poorly-weighted moments in a film that contained many.

I really didnt like Fifield. His forced Philip Mitchell accent just made me cringe every time he spoke :( He seems very aggressive for a guy interested in rocks...maybe its crack rocks hes interested in lol

@Spartacus If you liked Fifield (Sean Harris) check out a film called 'Harry Brown'. Plenty of English accents to enjoy and he plays a [b]SERIOUSLY SCARY[/b] crack-head and gun dealer.
