David/ Vickers sibling rivalry

Weyland considers David the closest thing he has to a son, and seems to favor him over Vickers, his actual daughter, who clearly resents this. David also has more access to Weyland through that helmet with the yellow visor. Does anyone else think this character thread should have been explored more?

I like how their sibling rivalry could be symbolic if the 1st post in the link below is true - [url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/7436&page=3]CLICKY[/url] Just like the engineers despise their creators latest creation(humans), Vickers despises her fathers latest creation(David).
