Interesting..... Can you please cite Leviticus 44:6 and/or 4:26? Also, what does Leviticus 2:23 say?

That'c clever. Here is Lev 4-26 "All its fat he shall offer up in smoke on the altar as in the case of the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him in regard to his sin, and he will be forgiven." There is no Lev 44 nor is there a Lev 2:23 (there's just 16 verses in chapter 2.)

Perhaps this is why we have a single lone jockey who is taller than the other on LV 426.. he's a priest? Was he atoning for setting the chain of events that led to the outbreak on LV 223.?

That is no coincidence. This mythology has been in the story from day 1. ‘If any one of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel dedicate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD." At first, I thought it was referring to humans - we ae the offspring, from a vast amount of generations over billions of years, and they enter the temple, one with a sticky finger. But the cut off bit suggests it is actually the decapitated Space Jockey... the room has an automatic detection system... he was infected and it CUT HIS HEAD OFF with the door.

I am more inclined to think that this is a coincidence and even RS would be surprised to hear this verse. He'd be like: "Fucking A, this is just a movie! Who the hell has time to look up scriptures?"
