Agreed! I love the breakdown this article gives of various scenes in Prometheus. Never realized there was such vast mythological and religious connection. o_O Thanks for sharing!

*Everything* can be linked into a myth. That's why they're myths. Myths are a culture's way of thinking about things. They create the patterns that tell people how to think. (Equally important, they also constrain people from thinking in new ways). When you take bits from myths from many different sources with no regard for their cultural context, it's easy to fit them into whatever "pattern" you're seeking to impose.
