Plot/Story
This movie summarize the plot of a group of scientist and researchers travel across the galaxy and visit the makers of human kind, but what turns out what they discover can lead to the destruction of the human race. To be honest with you guys, I haven't watch ALIEN before, but my first encounter with the ALIENs universe is AVP first movie, from that moment I start to feel that Aliens are the best scared creatures that I ever discovered. Back to Prometheus, due to some rumors of that this movie is not the prequel to ALIEN, and it turns out it's TRUE!
PROMETHEUS had illustrated of how the new organism of human being is being created from a race from another planet which referred as the "Engineers". The opening scene of the film is definitely my most favourite scene of the entire movie, as well as other epic scenes...Which it shows a Engineer had sacrifice itself to create a new life of organism thousand years back ago. This had answered some of my question that what I really expect towards to this movie of how mankind is created.
As the story move towards from the PROMETHEUS ship is travelling towards the galaxy, then till the crew went to discover for the Ampule temple, till the events that "something went wrong", it was an incredible journey and how Ridley had this amazing idea from taking the audiences into one path, then goes to another path of the entire story. Although there are a tons of questions from the movie left unanswered, but we do hope explanation and new "surprise" can be reveal in the next 2 sequals.
Cast
Another reason why I choose to watched this movie over the opening weekend is because the amazing cast that had contributed so focus for their role in PROMETHEUS. One of my favorite character is Meredith Vickers, potrayed by Charlize Theron.

The character Vickers gave me an impression of how she really "cares" about the PROMETHEUS project, with the funding of trillion for the project from Weyland Company, it's her job to make sure that everything goes accordingly and correctly.
The other characters also did an amazing job, especially like David, the android, Elizabeth Shaw, the heroine , which the surgery scene is one of the challenge that she had to perform; Charlie, Janek, Fifield, Millburn, and the rest of the Prometheus crew.
The Engineers

Altought this is my first review, I also kinda not understand what really happen on LV 233, but from the point of view what I assume is that there are types of Engineers be on LV 233, but we still don't know where do the Engineers came from, but the visit to the Ampule temple can explain what exactly really happen before man-kind was born.
I assumed that there are good and bad engineers being involved in the planet of LV 233, where the holograms that the David activated inside the Ampule temple, where it showed some of the Engineers are being chased by something. From this point of view, I really don't know what it's going on because the hologram display was quite fast, thus I can't really observed what is really chasing the Engineers, that led to one of the Engineers is being kill by the chamber door as it's too late to escape into the chamber.
Another questions that left unanswered for me is that what exactly is inside the Chamber that contains numerous of containers, and also the humanoid head, which we already knew the containers can leak out the dark goo, which produce another new creature life form, or create some-sort of biological weapon to against something.
The ending scene of the awaken Engineer was also another coolest scene of the movie, where it also showed that the last engineer is plan to destroy earth and wipe out the entire human race due to some reason, which we still don't know yet, and of course the engineer's ship is being crushed by PROMETHEUS during departure.

There are still a tons of questions for the engineers aspects from this movie, maybe the later 2 sequals can explain the Engineer's universe, which will make the storyline more interesting.
Aliens from PROMETHEUS

The aliens life form from PROMETHEUS is realy amazing, from hammerpede, into a gigantic squid-like Facehugger, and also the birth of a new kind of ALIEN. All of these creature life-form are originally came from the dark liquid, which it can operate different kinds of effects for different types of habitat.
From my opinion, the aliens from the world of PROMETHEUS is really good in terms of design and also the characteristics, which can relate to the creatures from the ALIENs franchise, like the Facehugger, and the squid-like facehugger had really frightened me up if I was the one who being fight with it.
The birth of the new alien at the ending scene, also lead me to another thinking that the sequals, which I hope more aliens that the one appear in the ending scene will make appearance in the later sequals and pray for more scary scenes for this kind of new alien type.
In conclusion, I wish I can spend 2 hours just to write my first full review, but I have to watch PROMETHEUS again later this week in order to understand the overall concept of the movie, especially the engineers aspects, in order for me to fully understand what the engineers try to deliver before move into the later sequals. Therefore, PROMETHEUS is an amazing film for those who love science fiction, and it also made me want to do more research towards to the ALIEN universe to actually find out what happen on LV 426, which I knew there's not that much or not entirely had any connection with PROMETHEUS.
Thus, thanks for reading my film review and enjoy commenting for my first review of PROMETHEUS.
