When I saw the movie, I didn't realize the goo was what the engineers made as weapons. I thought they made a bunch of stuff. This was because When I saw the snake creatures, I didn't know they were the maggot worm things that mutated due to the goo, because the shot of the worms was like an hour before the snakes and I forgot about it. Anyway, not I feel dumb and missed a big part of the plot =[ Anyone else have this happen to them?

Don't feel bad, the movie was confusing for many people.

It wasn't really a confusing movie at all, the plot is pretty easy to follow but I feel liked I missed the whole fact that the goo is the bioweapon and that it is a mutagen. I guess it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of the film because the only fact that matters is that they were making bioweapons in the first place.

I think the black goo had more than 1 function which I saw from the movie itself, not just capable of mutate worms becoming into a hammerpede, and also other amazing incredible stuff. As for the manufacturing from the engineers to create as a weapon? maybe yes or no.........it's based on your personal view.

@ alteredstate Best evolution graph ever thanks alot makes it easier to understand the goo is basically evolution in a jar or actually urn don't really think it's a weapon i think it's more like something meant to create new life and evolve it
