@ZetaReticuli...I got my copy today and maybe one or two of these pics are in it but most of them are not. Great stuff none the less.

WHY THEY NO USE DESIGN?!?!? These concepts TOTALLY did justice to Giger. WHY DIDN'T THEY USE THEM?!?!?

Absolutely beautiful and ghastly, thanks Daisy. Why the HELL wasn't this used in the film? Are these in the 'Art of' book at all? I've ordered this and I'm expecting it in the post on Thursday.

Fifield looks like hes turning into a xeno in some of those pics...which is what a few of were guessing a long time ago.

I always love concept art... even if it does not make it to the big screen, just seeing it is enough... and they make great wallpapers... Thanks for sharing the experience.

In looking at the medipod creature, I can't help but look at it like it is, in fact, a mutated sperm cell. What do sperm cells do? They fertilize the egg, meaning the host is the egg, hehe. :) Just tossing it out there.

@jmoore74 Yer I posted that idea ages ago I thought it was too...not sure about later on though I think it ended up a new life form - octopus type thingy.

Some of the images are from the 'Art Of The Film' but many are not included, and I agree with a few here, there was no need to make a blatant connection to Fifeld as he lost his human features hosting the alien dna transformation. They should have used this, but it's difficult to say what the director is considering or if it's a studio interference, again.

Very odd. The human-still Fifeld should have been swapped for the full-on alien Fifeld, imo.
