Pictograms after event on LV-223

The engineers on LV-223 were killed off 2000 years ago; however, someone pointed out that two of the ancient civilizations had pictograms less than 2000 years ago during Holloway's presentation (there are dates on the holograms for each pictogram). If they were dead at that time, how can this be? I have always figured with all the religous references that there were two warring factions, e.g., angels and demons or good engineers bad engineers, but the pictograms showing up after the event kinda mess this idea up for me. If they were invitations, then they could not be sent by dead engineers. I guess they could have been a warning, but I do not get that from someone just pointing at a system in the picture. These damn pictograms are the biggest problem I have with the film other than we will not be able to travel that far by the year 2089. I can explain the latter being stolen technology from the engineers because I think Weyland corp. knew more about the engineers than Shaw thought she knew. Anyway thats were I am with that.

The facility on LV_223 isn't the only world. There are seven worlds in the pictographs. It's not a constellation. There were seven worlds/realms in the Persian Myths that Ridley Scott said the Engineers were supposed to be based on..

i think that only those engineers died 2000 years ago, not their entire race. And it could have been an invitation or just a lecture. I agree one the idea that just a group of engineers wanted to destroy us, if not why in 2000 years there was no other attempt to do it?

Didn't they said in the mission debriefing before landing that the pictogram Shaw and Holloway find in the isle of Ski in Scottland is supposed to pre-date the other pictograms by 35000 years?

No, they said is was 35,000 years old and predated the others by millenia

OK, I guess that can still make sense that the "good" engineers still visited us, and that they got the planet or moon wrong, so basically if it was an invitation Shaw and Holloway and whoever else was involved in locating the system got extremely unlucky on the moon they picked. If that is the case, then Shaw should not have far to go to find there home planet in the end of the movie (at least comparably). However, them landing on that moon seems to be a really big screw up, and how did they narrow it down to that one moon. I think that maybe it was by the Goldilocks zone scientists talk about and that is how they got it so wrong. I do not know. I think this would have to be the case. Also, Ridley had said something about the original derilect on LV-426 being a bomber used in an ancient war. Therefore, it would make sense that an ancient war between engineers would be a war in the heavens to us at the time, so I think we knew about it. I do not think this has to be strictly to Christianity because good and evil, angels and demons exist in other religions, and many religions are Abrahamic. So, I am pretty sure the idea of two factions warring it out is not far fetched. I am pretty sure that is what is going on, so I guess if they just got the moon or planet wrong then the pictos still make sense.
