Just Another Tomb

Maybe that line is not really a literal reference to the room behind the mural door or urn chamber, but just a statement of disappointment by Holloway that they just traveled all that way to find another empty room with no answers and no one to answer their questions. Finding that room was just like finding the cave paintings that only lead to more questions.
In that context, the Deacon mural on the door could perhaps be like the star map paintings back on Earth that symbolize an origin of some sort and that could be the intended dual ambguity of that line.
