Loved the movie, However?

Why would medical procedures trigger alarms on the bridge? I found plenty of plot holes on my first viewing.. some of which seem less ridiculous after some though... never thought of the bridge having an alarm about the Med Pod though. It's hardly the biggest mistake made by the captain, who by the way, doesn't seem to have have an accurate count of passengers/crew and makes no announcement prior to ejecting the lifeboat, that would warn the nameless assistants of Mr. Weyland. It's their blood that we see on the door, in the shot of the MedPod bay, where the big squid thing is belting the door.

There was an announcement in the form of a warning and then a ten second countdown and the alarm I am pretty sure was triggered by something else gonna check for ya.

I always wondered why no one ran after her or why she never bothered to lock the door etc, before starting surgery, but I try and not look too hard or I will just end up freaking out and not enjoying the movie.

I can understand why she forget to shut the door, when she is in a state of Panic you can sometimes forget to do certain things, pretty much like Milburn being silly by touching the Hammerpede i put this down to over excitement made him forget to use common sense. I also understand why Shaw would not want to mention a thing about what she did.... It only puzzled me as to why David and Weyland did not seem to question what she had done or where she had been, one can only assume that they knew what she was doing and so they some how managed to (but not shown) lock the Med Pod Door after Shaw Left. So that they would know that they had it contained and can take a look while they go down to the temple as making contact to one of our creators was a more important task..... maybe they asked while they are down the temple for Weylands attendant to go check Cuddles out while they was down on the surface?
