Anyone notice this in the Deacon concepts?

But a nice nod to how the later ALIEN xeno has a humanoid skull under it's dome in that example. I wonder if this was considered in the design brief...

the deacon (proto-alien) concept is silly at best! its nod to the Alien movie is an insult, as is the finding Christ in a tree drawing here!

Yes, I can see a skull under the dome. I think there are some other concept art images that show it better.

I find the similarities between some of the deacon and Fifield monster concepts intriguing. Most similar are this deacon... [img]http://cache.krop.com/ivanmanzella-4fd5efd310fa33f.jpg[/img] The human skull within an alien skull idea so to speak is quite apparent in this Fifield concept.
