Now that all the hype has settled down and the box office is slowly taking its steps downward. What is your final verdict of Prometheus. Did you like it? Did you hate it? was it ok? Was there anything you thought the film could of improved on? If you were directing Prometheus with Ridley Scott what advice would have you given him to improve the film?

I like what I've seen a lot and I'm looking forward to both the BluRay release to give me more Prometheus material...and also got my fingers crossed for a sequel or two...it looks likely. Advice to Ridley? None.

It seems that with each passing day and the more threads, theories and different points of view I read plus the new things I discover about the movie is making me like it even more. I liked it after my first viewing but now, after alot of research was done, im starting to think this movie will become a classic. If I had to improve something it would be some of the dialog and add more scenes that could help the depht of the movie like for example the Weyland TED talk. Hopefuly the directors cut will add them.

seen it twice now, i appreciate it bit more after the second time around i can't say i loved it, but i did like it. visually, it's quite stunning there are too many things plot-wise / direction-wise that could be improved upon. but the pacing / tone of the film is what irked me the most, as well as the marketing of the overall plot that just was not there still, i will be anxiously awaiting the Bluray i pre-ordered

The visuals were amazing, that's for sure. I also enjoy how engaged this movie can make you. There are certainly certain issues in the movie that border on incompetence, but those are simply trivial compared to the discussions about themes and characters in the show. As a director, I think Ridley did a great job. I've also got a lot of respect for the level of involvement he puts in with the crew.

RS is a great director; he just didn't chime in on the story enough. Letting the sneaky Lindelof grab hold of it and turn it into the shining dog turd it has become is the real issue! It's like Episode 1 - some parts you like, some you hate, but overall there is this feeling that you've been had.
