Lost Series

the series is wrote that is has no deep answers to the questions you get through season 1-6 , it has a great quality but a crap way to go around with mythology. it seems damon lindeloff leaves it all open to discuss among us fanboys instead of really sitting down and getting more into details. i loved lost but i didnt like how most stuff were just left. it makes a lazy impression. and now seen prometheus it has the same touch, a bit of a shame....see what comes in prometheus 2 and towards getting deeper answers to lost. i gave up after a year and a half trying to find out what the light is and what the smoke monster is, if the mother is one two. if the smoke monster was indeed the chosen one after all. the statue, hyroglyphics , the time wheel, the numbers and many more stuff....it was all just too open to really get a grip at it.... have fun anyway

I watched all 6 seasons of lost all at once and all for the first time. It is quite a different experience when you're not left wondering in between episodes and in between seasons. Was quite enjoyable. I can, however, empathize with viewers that were tortured having to watch it LIVE. I can only imagine the pain.

Lost was about the journey, not the destination. I enjoyed watching the show and while the ending may not be the best, it was one hell of a ride!

In fact there was a small epilogue (11 minutes) that revealed some minor mysteries, such as What the hell is the big bird that seems to scream the name "Hurley" and why there were polar bears on the island and in part of the video you can see an easter egg of A Clockwork Orange and it is very interesting indeed... Because after all is part of the real world...but with all these special qualities is difficult to know exactly what the hell is supposed to be...And then I find myself completely Lost! on an island completely surrounded by a sea of questions LOL...

Anyone who watched the whole of LOST and after 3 years still believes the myth that it left unanswered questions......Well I feel for ya, I have for 3 years argued with literally thousands of people and not one person has been able to produce a question that wasnt answered in one way or another. Just those on this page "what the hell is the Island?" The Island houses "The Source" a place that bridges the gap between the physical (life) and the metaphysical (The afterlife), Why do you think Hurley said "If we don't stop the Man in black....We all go to hell"? Because without the Island the "Afterlife/Heaven/Moving on" is unattainable. "what the light is" The light is a number of things, Mainly it is the umbilical from the physical to the metaphysical, It is the energy that sparked life, It decides destiny, It controls time etc etc. " and what the smoke monster is" The smoke monster is a "Evil incarnate" an energy that exists alongside/underneath/within the "Source" when MIB fell into the light it fused with his consciousness/soul and escaped leaving his physical body lifeless. " if the mother is one two." Mother was both a smoke monster and guardian, She was trapped, and wanted out, Thats why she wanted to groom MIB as next guardian, He however wanted none of it. "if the smoke monster was indeed the chosen one after all" No, The smoke monster was darkness/Evil. "the statue" Put there by Egyptians who had a little more insight into what the Island was "Life, Death, And Rebirth. Which is what the statue(Taweret) represented. "hyroglyphics" Again put there by egyptians, The glyphs were something Dharma used too, and a hint at the end of the series was shown in season 2, When the timer glyphs showed up they translated to "Underworld/Afterlife". "the time wheel" The energy on the Island consists in part negatively charged exotic matter, Which can in theory support a wormhole, and the Casmir effect. "the numbers" The numbers were connected to the Island and its candidates by destiny/Fate, Much like people believe in numerology or astrology, The numbers seemed to follow these people because it was their destiny to play a part in the Islands history.

Ill sum the whole argument visually for you: its just like modern art : [img]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-e2aJXImlhfY/TcKrSw69D4I/AAAAAAAAAIU/xjjNNNGj_Fw/s320/modern_art.jpg[/img] One person sees a blank canvas and the artist taking the piss another says woooow its sooo deep and pays 2 million dollars for it which one are you :D I must admit I tried to watch about 3 episodes of lost from somwere in the middle (probably not the best way to see it) and wanted to spoon my eyes out to stop the pain - so obvious what it was doing : it was all about getting people to keep watching always having something unanswered to make you watch the next episode letting people read into it like tea leaves blah blah - sorry but for me it was garbage now something like game of thrones now that is a series! Not perfect but bloody good - especially the main character killing - so un Hollywood like - loved it - hope promethues took some notes :P ! Anyway I dare lindelof to write down and store in a vault all the meanings to his next series like that and then we will see what people come up with and open the vault a few years later and see how close they all were - bet it would be sooo far off the mark it would be unbelievable!

@George RR Martin Fanboy, Get off the sheep bandwagon son shine, LOST answered every question it asked, You watched an episode in the middle and you expected to "Get it"?? Lol, Game of thrones is OK, nothing special.
