Well, I hope this is the real deal, because I was intending to buy the Anthology very soon behind the blu-ray of Prometheus, but if everything on the Ant is on here, then that's absolutely fantastic. One fu**ing WHOPPER of an omnibus! Thanks Garethvk! I'm looking forward to watching these when the dark nights creep in.........

I have the Alien Quadrilogy already. Is the new set better prints (besides Prometheus) of what I have or just repeated films?

I find this very frustrating...no mention of an extended cut?....I want my extra 20 minutes of deleted scenes....i don't want those scenes in the menu...I wanne sit down and watch a movie with 20 extra minutes of cut scenes...i want them installed in the extended cut...i don't mind extra footage in the menu's ...stuff that did not make it into the movie and was cut because they simply were alternative cuts and they were taken out perhaps cause they followed an altered plot......i will gladly watch those....but there has to be an extended cut as well.... I loved the movie as is...but it is not flawless....my biggest problem would be the editing...it certainly is'nt perfect and i am curious to see what got left behind.... Now this release is making me wary...I hope it is simply an alternative and not the be all end all...??!!

I think that's Fox's strategy to make more money. Release the first set. Make a ton, then release a RS Director's Cut, Deluxe set, super-Deluxe Set. . .
