Take another look at the Croissant

The right hand looks as if it is open with the fingers spread and broken and the left hand seems to be holding an urn.
Is this a nod to the follow-up in Greek mythology to the story of Prometheus, the tale of his brother, Epimetheus and his bride, Pandora – she of the ‘Pandora’s box’, or more correctly ‘urn’?
Epimetheus had been warned to never accept a gift from Zeus but each of the gods donated something to create the most beautiful woman, exquisitely gowned and garlanded, whom he marries. As soon as the happy couple cross the threshold of their home, Pandora removes the lid of her urn and all the evils under heaven break out to attack mankind, leaving only hope unable to escape.
Prometheus was chained to that rock for two offences against Zeus:
Stealing fire from heaven and giving it to man
Preventing Zeus from destroying mankind
It seems Zeus is neither forgiving not forgetful.
